Drive

Once upon a time, there lived a colony of frogs living in a
lily pond. The frogs lived in peace as they had a steady
population because of the abundant spawns they had.
These frogs were ruled by a King and Queen frog who
had a beautiful frog daughter. All the male frogs were
interested in the frog princess but were oftened shunned
by the protective frog King.

One day, the frog Queen was very sick because of a
mysterious illness. No matter how hard the frog King
tried he could never be able to find the right herbs to
cure the Queen's ailment. The King was very desperate
so he held a meeting that day with all of the colony's
male frogs.
"My Queen is very sick, and Im afraid the only known cure is from the Tree of life!"
saying that he pointed at a huge tree which was quite a
distance from the lily pond.
"My age is upon me, and I am not able to pluck the leaves from the tree as it is too tall"
"Why cant we just take a fallen leaf at the bottom of the tree?"
asked one of the younger frogs sheepishly.
"Because the medicine is only at its full effect if the leaf is plucked fresh! You fool!"
bellowed the King.
"To whoever who can get me a leaf from the top of the tree, you can have my princess
and her hand in marriage."

Most of the male frogs were very interested, but all
of them knew the danger of this task. The Tree of Life,
is the tallest tree in the forest and it is a very difficult
climb. However, a brave bunch gathered the next day
and travelled to the foot of the Tree of Life accompanied
by some mischevious frogs who had nothing to do. Each
of these brave frogs took turns to climb the tree and
each time the mischevious frogs would discourage them.
"You will fall, the bark of the tree is slippery!"
"Its too tall, none of you weaklings will make it!"
"Idiots, the princess will never marry you because all of you are failures!"

The list of their discouraging words go on and on as
many of the brave frogs, who climbed the tree fell to
their death, much to the delight of the mischevious frogs.
Many frogs have already lost their lives and most of the
remaining ones stayed negative. They discourage others
from going because the task seemed too impossible to do!

Suddenly one of the brave frogs, who had been quietly
watching all this while, pushed his way through the crowd
to the foot of the tree. He hopped pass his dead comrades
and proceeded to climb the tree. Most of the frogs urged him
to stop while the mischevious frogs laughed at him.
"Brother, please dont do this its impossible!"
"Haha you fool, you are going to die just like the rest!"
"Idiot, have you not learned??"
"Another one bites the dust haha!!"

Suprisingly, the brave frog made it to the top of the tree
and grabbed a couple of leaves and came down carefully,
much to the suprise of everyone. There was a wave of
silence, from both the brave and the mischevious frogs.
Suddenly the King approached from the crowd and walked
towards the frog. The King asked,
"My dear friend congratulations, my daughter's heart is yours. But I must ask, how did
you make it to the top?"
The quiet Frog replied,
"WHAT??!!!!"

he was deaf
